At P2 joinery, we take environmental concerns very seriously. We are committed to the recycling and reuse of materials whenever possible, and minimise waste through the process of material optimisation. Additionally, we devote time right from the outset to thinking about what sustainable material will be most suitable for our clients' projects. This means that they get display units with the right product life cycle at maximum cost efficiency and minimum harm to the environment.

At P2 Joinery, our fire heaters are powered by waste products that can no longer be used, turning potential waste into a valuable energy source. This eco-friendly approach reduces the need for conventional fuels, cutting down on harmful emissions while maximising energy efficiency. By repurposing these materials, we minimise waste and ensure that our heating solutions align with our sustainability goals. It’s a practical and responsible way for P2 Joinery to reduce its environmental impact and make the most of the resources available to us.
We only use FSC timber in our projects in order to ensure that all materials that we use are responsible and don't have a negative impact on the environment. Any offcuts from our timber is recycled or reused in our factory. In fact, our building is heated using fire heaters which are powered by waste products that we can no longer use. On our premises, we have solar panel roofs and wind turbines that help power our machines sustainably. These simple changes to the way we work is the reason why our building is A rated. When choosing new machinery, we consider the environmental impact when making our decision.
P2 Joinery holds several certifications and accreditations that clearly demonstrate its commitment to environmental ethics. These include, Safe Contractor, Hi – Macs Fabricator, Corian Fabricator ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
